Greens of Blairgowrie Donates £1,000 to Happy to Chat, Happy to Listen
· £1,000 awarded through Making a Difference Locally’s Heart of the Community Funding Giveaway Awards
· Funding supports Mental Health First Aid training for Blairgowrie High School pupils
· Ensures programme remains free, accessible, and delivered by qualified trainers
Greens of Blairgowrie has proudly donated £1,000 to Happy to Chat, Happy to Listen as part of Making a Difference Locally’s Heart of the Community Funding Giveaway Awards, supporting vital mental health education for young people.
The £1,000 funding award will enable Happy to Chat, Happy to Listen to continue delivering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to third-year pupils at Blairgowrie High School. This important initiative equips young people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise the signs of mental health challenges and provide early support to peers.
The funding will contribute towards qualified trainer time, course materials, and accreditation costs, ensuring that the programme remains free and accessible for students. By removing financial barriers, the initiative guarantees that all pupils can benefit from this essential life skill training.
